Out On Film and Gilead present a screening of Stephen Winter's "Chocolate Babies" followed by a discussion of HIV/AIDS in the media and the continued importance of advocacy with Atlanta activists including Craig Washington and Mark King. Reception to follow at 9 p.m. at Apres Diem. 

An underground band of HIV-positive, queer, urban, genderqueer, activists of color is making headlines in New York. In an effort to expose political corruption surrounding the AIDS epidemic, these urban guerrillas stage a series of surprise attacks against conservative politicians whom they believe are collecting secret lists of HIV-positive individuals. The masterminds behind the action include "to-the-death!" diva Max Mo-Freak; his determined sister, Jamela; Larva, a sex-crazed crossdresser with attitude; Lady Marmalade, a junkie transvestite songstress; and Sam, an idealistic young Asian militant and Max Mo's lover.

Join Out On Film for a special Beer Bust Fundraiser at the Atlanta Eagle, help support Atlanta's LGBTQ+ Film Festival, and learn about the upcoming festival (Sept. 25 - Oct. 5, 2025).

Out On Film is happy to present a screening of the beloved "Making Sweet Tea" as a fundraiser for Freddie Syles, a subject of the film whose house burned down in February. He lost everything including 50 years of art. E. Patrick Johnson and subjects from the film will be in attendance.

In Twinless, two young men meet in a twin support group and form an unlikely friendship. Roman (Dylan O’Brien) and Dennis (James Sweeney) both search for solace and an identity without their other halves and soon become inseparable outside the group. But when Roman meets Dennis’ ebullient co-worker, Marcie (Aisling Franciosi), all is revealed to be not what it seems, as each man harbors secrets that could unravel everything.
