Film Guide Import Tool

Keep our festival film guide fresh and accurate with this tool that imports film details directly from Airtable into the Eventive Film Guide.

It updates key fields including:

  • Film Title

  • Description

  • Tags

  • Year

  • Runtime

  • Language

  • Country

  • Premiere Info

  • Director

  • Screenwriter

  • Producer

  • Executive Producer

  • Co-Producer

  • Cast

  • Visibility

  • Trailer URL

Please note: Updating and importing images is still in BETA stage, so it currently will not sync cover images & posters in Eventive, you’ll still need to manually update those.

Before starting, read the instructions carefully to avoid errors that could affect how films appear to our audience.

When you’re ready, connect through our secure webhook to begin the import.

Make sure to go to the “OOF’25 (Operations)” under “Films.” (It doesn’t matter which view you’re under.)

Before you initiate the sync, make sure that you’ve checked the “Sync with Eventive” box for any films you want to sync with Eventive Film Guide. Please note that ONLY records that have this checked will be synced with Eventive, all others will be ignored.

Once the sync has been initiated, any record that is in Airtable, but NOT in Eventive Film Guide, will be created. If the film has already been imported, it will update the records with the new or changed information.

After the sync has been completed, you can confirm changes using the “Eventive URL” link in Airtable. If the event link is there, then it means the sync has already created the necessary event. You can click on the link to open the Eventive Film Page and confirm all necessary information is correct.

(Please note: The sync can take up to 1-minute to update everything, so be patient when you click the button.)
